Arina Sharapova was born on May 30, 1961. She met her first husband, journalist Sergei Alliluyev, druing building her journalist career. At age 19, Arina gave a birth of her first child. From 1991 to October 1995, Arina have been working as a reporter and commentator at the News Channel. She was also the leading reporter for the "60 Minutes" and "Vesti." Since October 1999, she became an author and leading daily TV-reporter for the Russian TV-shows "Meeting Place," and "Good Morning."

Sharapova has two degrees, in Sociology and English interpreter. She currently teaches at the Moscow University.

In 1999, Arina was running for a seat in Russian Duma (Senate), unfortunately her candidacy was removed due to the tax issues.
